报告题目：Green Shades in Organic Synthesis 报 告 人：Luigi Vaccaro报告时间：2018年11月21日下午3:30报告地点：16号楼214室欢迎广大师生前往交流！化学与化工学院2018年11月16日Abstract:Our research program is mainly committed to the definition of efficient and sustainable synthetic tools by combining the development of several crucial areas of investigation:i) use of safer reaction media (such as water, azeotropes or bio-based reaction media) or solvent-free conditions ;ii) preparation and use of heterogeneous recoverable and reusable catalytic systems based on supports tailor-made for their use in greener reaction media or under SolFC;iii) definition of flow reactors able to allow the recovery of products with minimal waste production. Our recent efforts have been directed towards the combination of safer reaction media and heterogeneous catalytic systems for the definition of metal-catalyzed C-C bond formation processes via cross coupling or C–H functionalization. Some representative examples from our laboratory will be presented in this seminar.Prof. Luigi Vaccaro：Full Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Università degli Studi di Perugia(ca. 150 publication, H-index: 44, with ca. 4800 total citations)1996: Degree in chemistry at the “Università degli Studi di Napoli–Federico II”, summa cum laude.1999: PhD in Chemical Sciences at the “Università degli Studi di Perugia”.2014-present: Guest Professor (Bijzonder Gastdocent) at the University of KU Leuven Belgium.2015-present: Associate Editor of RSC Advances a multidisciplinary journal of the Royal Society of Chemistry.2016-present: Associate Editor of Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, a journal of the Beilstein Institut.Honors2016 Awarded the Top-10 reviewers recognition from Royal Society of Chemistry.2017 Awarded the “Lady Davis” Professorship of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem2017 Nominated as Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, FRSC2018 Nominated as “Outstanding reviewers for Green Chemistry” by the RSC.
